Frequently asked questions.
Plain answers about how Grubz Up works, what it costs and who's behind it.
Is Grubz Up a takeaway marketplace?
No. Grubz Up is a white-label ordering solution for individual takeaways. Each business gets its own branded ordering experience, rather than competing shops being listed together in one directory.
Will my customers see other takeaways?
No. Your ordering page is dedicated to your takeaway. There are no competitor listings, no "you might also like" suggestions pointing your customers to other chippers.
Who owns the customer data?
You do. When customers order through your branded page, their details and order history stay with your shop — not with a platform. Building your own customer list is one of the core ideas behind Grubz Up, and the exact responsibilities, permissions, retention and processing terms will be set out in the service and privacy agreements before launch.
How much does it cost?
€110 per month plus VAT, with 0% commission on your orders. There's no percentage of your sales — just a flat monthly fee, so your costs stay the same however busy the shop gets. See our pricing page for what's included.
How do orders reach my shop?
Your customers order from your own branded ordering page. Orders come directly to your takeaway for you to confirm and prepare — there's no marketplace standing between you and your customers.
How do we get started?
Get in touch and tell us about your takeaway. We'll build your branded ordering page with your menu, you review it, and then you go live and start promoting your link to your customers. It's a straightforward process and we handle the technical side. Start the conversation.
Who's behind Grubz Up?
Grubz Up comes from the team at First Impressions Web Design — web design and marketing people, not just a software product. Our company has been formed by people with vast experience in digital marketing and helping small businesses to grow. We've spent years helping Irish businesses get results online, and Grubz Up was built to give takeaways an ordering platform that works for the shop, not for a marketplace.
